100% Lime Oil
Aroma: Lime essential oil has a rich, fresh sweet top note, resembling the aroma of the fresh peel. The middle note is fresh, sweet, fruity.
Properties: Antibacterial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aperitif, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, febrifuge, restorative, tonic.
Benefits: Boils, brittle nails, colds, corns, cuts, fever, infection, insect bites, lmouth ulcers, nosebleeds, oily skin, poor circulation, stomach cramps, warts. Lime oil can be used in any blend you would add lemon oil to. The aroma is more tart but still very refreshing.
Burners and vaporizers - In vapor therapy, lime oil can be used to lift depression and energize a
tired mind, while easing breathing and assisting the digestion.
Blended massage oil or in the bath - Lime oil can be used as a massage oil or diluted in the bath, to help with
painful muscles and joints, respiratory problems and cellulite, as well as when
colds and flu strike.
Cream or lotion - When used in a cream or lotion, it is helpful to clear oily congested skin
and is also often used to help fight cellulite and remove the cottage cheese
effect from the skin.
For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.
Mixes Well With: Citronella, lavandin, rosemary, lavender, clary sage, lemon, neroli, ylang ylang.
